Problem going between mobile and desktop modes

After clicking through to the desktop version while already in the mobile version (iPhone iOS6) I am unable to go back to the mobile version of the forum (other pages serve the responsive version just fine).

same issue, when i try to go to mobile theme it is keep loading but not opening.

I've read this, but this is something I'm not able to replicate properly to realise what's wrong. I can go back and forth just fine so I don't understand what's wrong. Can you share your site setup?

OK great. Thanks for your reply. We have a forum with a normal desktop theme, and then we installed the mobile theme from this site (great theme btw - everyone loves it), the only problem being that I didn't see any code to switch between desktop and mobile in the sm4mobile theme, so I copied what you have on this site. It works for one click, but after that does not. I notice that the cookie is being written and says 'mobile', but it still reverts back to the desktop theme after one click, exactly what the original poster here described. I can PM the site URL if that would be helpful. Thank you.
