ayas, just thought i'd make a useless post....

I've been mucking around with different script for years. Nuke/Dragonfly, phpBB, Yabb, Mambo/Joomla. I'm no techgeekmodhacker, just a simple user. I really like some of those scripts but after exploring SMF a bit more recently and all the mods it has like SMF Media Gallery and the ease of installation etc, i'm pretty impressed, so much so that i've scrapped some sites and merged a couple in to one using SMF, with Simple Portal & Media Gallery. I'm having a good time playing with it.

Yeah, using SMF is fun, and with SMG and Aeva it's even better, eheh. :) I also play around with making my SMF platform a real website that catters to real needs.
No need to preach for myself, so I'll just say -- play with PrettyURLs and UltimateProfile as well. They're good mods, too. (Although I modified them both heavily to my tastes a long time ago and as such I haven't seen what they're become these days.)
