the topnav drops a line for every "button" in IE7
it goes
Home
Community
Help
Search
Profile
(actually, that's all I can see, beause the rest drops behind the forum contents)
Also, the linktree/breadrumbs don't actually link....
-
Stupid question.... Did you try to refresh? Did you enable a theme other than the site's default? (which is silentwave_20b4)
-
I need to get these fixed, thanks :)
-
OK Fixed :).
-
nope. :(
IE7, still shows as I indicated: both the menu and the linktree
-
Have you tried clearing your cache?
EDIT : OK its not fixed, crap IE8 and its debugger.
-
I believe I fixed it now, I have tested it in IE7 on two machines. So it should be fixed, make sure to clear your cache :).
-
The best fix is to not use IE7 ;)
Just kidding, sort of.
It is always a pain to test for all of the popular browsers.
-
IE7 should be burried.
-
Yeah, it should be murdered to death on the bonfire of standards. Until it's dead, and then some.
IE7 users are most likely McCain voters, too. Beware!! ;D
-
ROTFL... you couldn't pay me to vote for McCain.
anyway... it does seem to be fixed now.
(I use IE because that is what most of the world uses. :( and what my business sites have to support)
-
Thats right !!!!
unfortunately, 70% of visitors on my site use IE :-\
FF has an 29%
Opera and mac users are the rest 1%
-
Educate them, then.
I have much, much larger Opera shares (>30%) because I've educated my readers about how it's good, efficient and very usable.
-
I can not educate the general public... when I say my business sites, I mean just that. B2B websites for publications. If I had a limited audience, I would try to educate them... however my audience ranges in the tens of thousands per month. Too many to "convince".
(actually, personally, I don't like Opera, I prefer FF.)

Yeah, but that's because you suck. 8)
As I like telling FFFans -- whenever you can find me a tab manager for FF that allows me to open 100+ tabs and not having to scroll a tab bar to access any of them, then be my guest, I'll become a hardcore FF user... Opera allows me to have tabs that are even 3 pixels wide if I'd like... Or even smaller but that's a bit abusive.
-
You just called me a "sucker".....
-
lol... I can't stand having more than 4-5 tabs open anyway. I get easily confused.
The amusing thing is that I have my FF skinned to look exactly like IE7.
-
You just called me a "sucker".....
Yeah, what's up? ;D
-
I'm happy to hear the problem is already fix.Have fun and enjoy staying in the site everyone.
-
this site does look bad in IE7
...IE8 is not much better
-
Meh stupid IE. I'll fix these issues when I have some time.
-
Hopefully pretty soon. This is a very annoying issue.
-
Change your theme to the SMF default! I've been doing that for some time...
-
All of the issues should be fixed now.
-
No changes at all. The issue is still the same.
-
Which one? The IE 7 one?
-
The IE7 one, yer.
